Pieco Direct (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Restaurant Task List mobile application (the “App”) for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Summary

Restaurant Task List is designed to store your task lists, checklist items, and product prep data on your device. We do not operate a user account system and we do not collect your checklist content on our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number through the App
  • Your task lists, tasks, descriptions, or prep product selections on our servers
  • Your precise location
  • Advertising identifiers for third-party ad tracking

Information Stored on Your Device

The App saves data locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage (including UserDefaults and app sandbox storage), such as:

  • Task list names, categories, and checklist items
  • Scheduled days, months, and reminder settings you configure
  • Product prep catalog entries and quantities you select
  • Import and export files you choose to open or save through the system file picker

This data remains on your device unless you delete the App, erase your device, or use features such as import/export to copy it elsewhere. You are responsible for backing up your device and exported files.

Notifications

If you enable reminders for weekly, monthly, or yearly tasks, the App may request permission to send local notifications on your device. Notification content is generated on your device from your checklist data. We do not send push notifications from our servers. You can turn off notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Print, SMS, and File Sharing

When you use Print, SMS, or Import/Export, you use Apple’s system services (AirPrint, Messages, Files, Mail, and similar). Content you share is handled according to your choices and those services’ policies. We do not receive copies of printed or messaged content.

Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers an optional yearly auto-renewable subscription with a free trial, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited subscription status information (such as whether a subscription is active) to deliver the service. Analytics and Crash Reporting

Unless stated otherwise in a future update of this policy, the App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Apple may collect diagnostic and usage information from your device according to your iOS settings (for example, if you opt in to share analytics with app developers through Apple).

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for restaurant and food-service operations and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will assist as appropriate.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored on your device is retained until you edit or delete it, or until you remove the App from your device. Deleting the App removes locally stored App data from that device, subject to iOS backup behavior.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information. For this App, you can:

  • Access and change your data directly in the App
  • Export your data using the Excel export feature
  • Delete data by removing tasks, lists, or the App
  • Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • Disable notifications in iOS Settings

International Users

The App is offered through the Apple App Store. If you use the App outside the United States, your information is primarily stored on your device under your control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when changes are posted. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
